Lesbian Birthday Wishes is a short global documentary uplifting the voices of lesbians from all walks of life, filmed on or near their birthdays. In just two questions, we explore what it means to reflect, grow, and hope—as individuals, and as a community that spans generations and continents.

Birthdays are a shared ritual—sometimes joyful, sometimes heavy—and this film is about capturing that moment of personal reflection with honesty, humor, and heart. Each interview is a snapshot of one lesbian’s inner world set against the landscape of her outer one: from kitchen tables and balconies to city streets and iconic landmarks.

We are filming through the year and looking for participants of all ages and locations within the lesbian community.

 

What’s involved:

   • What are the top three things you wish for yourself or for the world in the year ahead?

2.     Filmed on or near your birthday

   

We guide you on your own filming and submission your if we can’t come to you.
